Tanushree Dutta Instagram – Just like the inqalab or the dream of a free India was a radical seed that the freedom fighters sowed in the opressed awam janta of British Raj India. A seed that grew into our great Indian democracy. A free country that could move into the future with proud accomplishments in science, technology, education, innovation etc etc Like that the #metoo movement was a seed of a new kind of awareness & conciousness where now every self- respecting person knew that they don’t have to suffer in silence the atrocities and bad behaviour of a dirty convoluted human soul. That they can protect themselves and others just by speaking up and voicing their complaints. God has given every human being a right to live & work with dignity. Some creepy people just don’t get it and misuse the law so they need to be pulled up and chastised publicly. The beginning of change & transformation is always uncomfortable for everyone. And some strong examples need to be set up to give out a strong message to the masses. So let’s hope that strong action is taken in future cases. It is blaring and brazenly on the face now. There’s a problem, and I believe every problem has a perfect solution if only one is determined to find it. Infact the simplest solution is just exposing the problem sometimes. So the #metoo movement was never a problem as was perceived by many old school non- millenials, rather it was a solution to a very complicated problem in India. It’s a voluntary solution to an involuntary chronic cancerous issue. Mull over my words..they will make sense sooner or later. #Jai Hind
