Had a wonderful time on my first trip to Srinagar this weekend, combining work and play! ⚽️🚣‍♂️ Took a fantastic Shikara ride on the iconic Dal Lake and soaked in the beauty while scouting locations for our upcoming sports web series. Srinagar’s economic growth in the last few years is encouraging 💼💪 The people were simple– their hospitality and down-to-earth nature won me over. Two food places that impressed me : Cafe Liberty, where I had the best downtime with delicious food and cozy vibes, and Lhasa Restaurant, a fusion food paradise. 🍛🍻 The weather was perfect, local line production facilities very professional , locations were stunning. It’s no wonder film making has resumed in the valley. The Jammu and Kashmir government has placed the licensing system under the Public Service Guarantee Act as part of the new film policy (PSGA). The JK administration has a set deadline of 30 days in which to grant filmmakers’ permission. Moreover, a single-window system has been implemented to make things simpler for the producers.
