For AAPI Month, I’m so grateful to have joined with @nike & @steezystudio on their collab to celebrate our heritage and what it means to be an AAPI womxn. Joining this project has given me the space to fully reflect on who I am as a young Filipina woman in this lifetime and what a blessing it is to not only represent my heritage but to celebrate some of the amazing women in my life that are Filipina or a part of the AAPI community. This affirmation above has been a reminder to unapologetically show all parts of me as this would fuel the connections I want to build around me, whether on a personal level or through my art, like dance. Thank you again Nike and Steezy for sharing my story, it truly means the world to have yall create a safe space for us to share and be heard. Thank you for celebrating us. Here’s my story 🤍
