Home Music Director Sid Sriram HD Photos and Wallpapers June 2023 Sid Sriram Instagram - I’m back in Bay for a few days. This piano is special, it’s seen me at different stages of my life. It’s helped me through some strange times, playing it definitely helped keep me sane especially during the pandemic. I was kinda aimlessly tinkering w it today, drifted into fragments of Dear Sahana. My brain drifted back to my first trip to Minneapolis when I first met and started creating with @arsononly. My second day there in the afternoon, him, @cbierden, @blobtower, @ajabaum, @dealdrugger and I were at Ryan’s spot. When we landed on the jam that would become Dear Sahana there was a current of warmth that moved thru the room. Everything from Ryan’s conducting of chaos, to the way Chris, Justin and Baum came up with the B section effortlessly gave one a sense of floating on a wave of joy. I remember chancing upon a couple phrases during that jam that felt like quick Carnatic inflections melting into Soul riffs; something sparked internally. I remember Justin flowing right into this absolutely gorgeous guitar solo (it’s the one that’s on the record!!) and I had the biggest grin on my face as Ryan let out one of his “come ooon”’s.Everything felt so magical, that magic lives in every aspect and stage of making this song. I played this piano today, reflected and felt grateful. I am grateful
