Andrew Francis Instagram – Hey all! 👋 No matter what’s happening in your personal life, as an actor, a major component of the job is to separate yourself from your own “stuff”, and step into another character’s completely different world. Sometimes this task can feel overwhelming, nearly impossible, and well, downright scary! All of these feelings can result in us displaying the complete opposite of what we intended to once we hear the word “Action!” 😳 All of this, subconsciously sabotaging and undermining what could have been SO great, and mostly all in relational to an innate yet needless fear of failure. This fear leads to tension, that tension leads to panic, and that panic leads to… le poopoo performance, let’s say. But!! Don’t fret! There are most definitely ways to overcome these, what seem like all encompassing emotions – and I would love to share them with you! Come and join me this Saturday (from anywhere in the world over Zoom), and learn a variety of techniques that will not only help you to improve the quality of your day to day life, but more specifically, help you as an actor – prepping more efficiently for auditions – executing those auditions with a feeling of a fist pump opposed to hanging head – and then once the gig is booked, (and I will talk about some of my own personal experiences where I’ve used these very techniques on set) All of which help keep your head in the game, and ensure that you tell your character’s story to the best of your artistic ability. Nerves… I’ve been there, we’ve all been there, sometimes I’m still there! – but together, let’s all learn the ways to get past that needless hurdle of nervous energy and start booking allll the gigs and “breaking allll legs” – and with a smile.🙏 I hope to see you this Saturday!!
