Growing up in Brooklyn, #AnthonyRamos was planning to play baseball in college until he discovered the stage. With the help of a crucial scholarship funded by Jerry Seinfeld, our #CERO06 cover subject ended up at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and was inspiration when he watched Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical #IntheHeights. Years later, he went on to star in Miranda’s #Hamilton on Broadway and a film adaptation of ‘Heights,’ and this summer finds himself on his biggest stage yet leading #TransformersRiseoftheBeasts. Through it all, he always remembers where he came from.
Ramos has selected @scholarshipplus, which offers mentorship and financial support to low-income New York City students pursuing college education, as the recipient of proceeds from direct sales of his cover of CERO06.
