Dominick Reyes Instagram – Dominick “The Devastator” Reyes Born on December 26, 1989 in Hesperia, California in a poor neighborhood. He is of American and Mexican origin. Very young, to avoid the hardship of his neighborhood, he practiced sports. He tried wrestling and American soccer, and quickly became a prodigy thanks to his athletic qualities. He dreamed of becoming a professional player, but in 2009 he became one by playing with the Stony Brook Seawolves (which is a university club). He made the All-Conference team twice.  He graduated from college with a degree in Information Systems.  His soccer career ended around 2013, he was not drafted by the NFL. Not wanting to play in a league that is not at a high level, he does not stay in the Canadian American Football League, which does not interest him. Depressed, he returned to California to work in construction. He also continued his father’s work in cabinet making.  He then trained at his brother Alexander’s (@executioner155) MMA gym to vent his frustration and stay in shape. A sportsman and competitor at heart, he made his 2014 professional debut at KOTC after having a 5-fight amateur winning streak while being undefeated. He won his fight quickly by TKO over Jose Rivas Jr. He repeated the winning experiences for 5 more fights to fly to the UFC thanks to 6 consecutive wins (5 by finish). He made his UFC debut 23 days after his victory over Jordan Powell at LFA. He won by TKO against J. Christensen. No problem for The Devastator, he strings together finishes over Kimball, Canonnier and beats OSP and Oezdemir by decision before knocking out Chris Weidman in 2019. He faces Jon Jones for the championship belt in February 2020. After a very good fight by Reyes, he lost by unanimous decision to Jones.  Reyes later faces Blachowicz, Prochazka and Spann, 3 nuggets including 2 world champions in the category and lost before the end of regulation time by KO/TKO.
