Flea Instagram – Cormac McCarthy touched me in a way no other writer came close to doing. The section in The Crossing written from the wolf’s point of view! That alone puts him in the pantheon of greatest evers. With all the bleakness and terror, I always came away from his books with a deeper yearning to be my best, with more hope for humanity. So grateful to have gotten a wild double dose of him this past year before he left us. Cormac forever ever ever.
