Jared Harris Instagram – Last night we finally relaxed our “DEFCON Five” self-preservation protocol, as our friend had a premiere at MoMa. It was an all-vaccinated, masked event, and we really wanted to see our friend & support his film, which we did, and it’s wonderful. Afterwards, miraculously, we ran into another old friend, the wonderful Aidan Quinn! We did a small film together, directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, called “The Two of Us,” 2000. We played Paul McCartney & John Lennon, in a story that dreamed what if they had reconnected before John’s murder. It was a sweet, little film, and if you have the opportunity to find it & see it, please do.
This past 60 Minutes had a segment about a new Beatles documentary. Oddly left out was the person who filmed all that footage: Michael Lindsay-Hogg. I find it a shame he wasn’t interviewed for the piece, as his insight as the filmmaker capturing the history of that day must be incredible. Additionally unnecessary was the 60 Minutes segment’s choice to dump on the original documentary, “Let It Be.” Credit where credit is due, and Michael Lindsay-Hogg deserves it.
