My first time playing the ICONIC @hollywoodbowl was sitting in on Beach Boys / @chicagotheband tour. Then had a blast at the Bowl doing the musical Hairspray alongside @theharveyfierstein and @nickjonas and Disney’s The Little Mermaid starring @sarabareilles Also Willy Wonka Live – But there’s nothing like playing with America’s Band while celebrating our great country. July 4th holiday at the iconic @hollywoodbowl – Family and love-those are things I’ve learned from @thebeachboys. When we are at our best as Americans, we are family.
The things that separate us
seem small compared to what draws us together. Politics are divisive. Music unites. Narrow ideologies limit us. Curiosity and creativity invite us to imagine endless possibilities. (I’m living proof)
The Beach Boys represent all the best of who we can be:
generous, talented, brilliant, benevolent, and divine.
With decency at an all time low and discord at an all time high, thank GOD we have the Beach Boys music to get us through. God only knows where we’d be without them.
Special thanks to @hollywoodbowl staff and stage crew- THE BEST. A huge thanks to the talented @micalaaustin who’s photos and videos are stunning, The Beach Boys Band and Crew- LOVE. And all the young and old Beach Boys fans for supporting their music.
