Jon Krakauer Instagram – Tom Hornbein died early this morning at his home. He lived for 92 years and had an immense impact on the lives of a great many people, including me. He was a remarkable man. I am so grateful to have had him as a mentor, a role model, and a dear friend. At the moment, however, I’m mostly just very sad that he’s gone.
