Took a fellow dad to the climbing gym and was blown away by how well he did his first time. He even learned how to “match his feet” and pulled one off successfully on a climb. I love showing people how to climb and getting to connect with them on health and wellness.

I’ve been getting depressed more and more about my body lately. I’m heavier than I want to be and a lot of it is stress and some bad eating habits. But my girlfriend hates when I am mean to myself so I’m posting this to keep me accountable so I keep the right mindset. … I have more fat than I’d like but I’m not ugly. I can make better choices but I don’t need to punish myself. I want to be in shape for functionality & longevity. Not just so I think I look good. I’m still strong, beautiful and have value. And I deserve kindness, even from myself.
She’s a ten but she’s going through a lot right now and just needs you to be patient with her. She’s also trying to get back into drinking enough water again so she has to pee a lot.
I have notoriously weak and stiff legs and I ain’t no spring chicken. Which is why a helping bowl of mobility movements are in my workout routine. What’s the point of aesthetics if you move like a beached whale?
