And I need to acknowledge this producing team that made it happen. Top left is the great @justinlin , the man who brought me into the mix, and who has become a close friend and mentor. Even while he’s directing massive blockbusters and running his company, Justin makes Warrior a priority, and he is always there for us when we need his expertise, pushing us to be better at every turn. Next to me on the other side is the magnificent @therealshannonlee , Bruce Lee’s daughter and guardian of his life’s work, who granted us access to her father’s original treatment and notes, blessed my somewhat unorthodox take on them, and served as a guide and advisor as we built the show. Shannon approaches everything with a sense of calm and wisdom, teaching us all to “be like water,” and giving us the confidence to shoulder the weight of Bruce Lee’s immense legacy. In Season 3, she wore a few other hats as well. The happiest days on set are the days when Shannon is around. She is the soul of our show. I will be forever grateful to Shannon and Justin for bringing me into the fold, and for our long-standing partnership. The two guys below are Josh Stoddard and Evan Endicott, a writing team who have been with me since Season 1 of Warrior. When I couldn’t be in Cape Town for Season 3, these two stepped in to take over showrunning duties. Warrior is an insanely complicated and challenging production, and these guys made it all happen seamlessly.
