Michel Smith Boyd Instagram – The main reason I started painting for @leftbankart is bc I wanted to see more black portraits in the luxury space/interior design. Turns out this one is a self portrait of WWl vet, Horace Pippin, called Threshold. I paint mostly women, but I’ve been collecting male portraiture. James Baldwin is at the top of my “what’s next list”. Mom and I both got a kick out of my new addition. This is how I #luxury on any budget. Thx @target 💙.
