‘Sang Woon Nam: Blue’ opens with Aleph Contemporary 4 July as a satellite exhibition of Korean Art London.
The solo exhibition will present large-scale paintings, made between 2019 and 2022, from the artist’s Blue Moon series. Using a lotus leaf as a reference point, these photo-realist studies draw the viewer in with their exceptional attention to detail and with the use of the artist’s signature colour, blue.
Sang Woon Nam has exhibited extensively in South Korea, but this is a rare chance to see his works in the UK. Curated by Vivienne Roberts, Aleph Contemporary Director, and Rok Hee Hwang, Director of Korean Art London.
