Phoenix Raei Instagram – ABC have done a good job of explaining the situation in Iran. We have to be able to define what freedom means in a more nuanced way. I think partly a free society is one which the people of that society are supported socially and economically in transforming their dreams into reality. Having basic rights are only the ground work. The Islamic republic not only needs to be removed they will need to answer for their crimes against humanity. When they are removed from power which is only a matter of time then and only then can the people of Iran start the process of transformation. In order to that we in the west need to be their voice because the government has cut out their access to the outside world. We will be your voice.
