Ron Perlman Instagram – Once again, a pigment of a master imagination… Repost from @johncuneo3 • The under toad. A small thing ( 6 or 7 inches wide ) finished today in a Canson watercolor sketchbook. This began , as so many things here begin, with a sad, solitary man hunched over a table. And like a weed, or a tumor, it just grew. Things expand sometimes. Faced with the recurring inability to provide any rational context for a drawing , I turn again to a favorite quote from Lynda Barry for justification: “ You have to be willing to spend time making things for no reason”. Thank you Ms Barry, mission accomplished.
