Royce Gracie Instagram – Loyalty As you all are aware, loyalty was discussed in great detail during your Black Belt examination. Many questions were asked, different scenarios were discussed, and all of you that are Black Belts agreed as such that loyalty is a pillar of being a Royce Gracie Black Belt. Understand that loyalty is a two-way street. I have and always will be loyal to my Black Belts. Unfortunately, some of you have forgotten what I told you when I tied your belt around your waist. I said “This is my belt. If you ever leave me, take it off and send it back to me” If you choose to go down your own path, that’s fine. If you choose to promote your own Black Belts, that’s fine.. I wish you the best in your journey, but you are no longer my Black Belt. If you’re not loyal to me, why wear my belt? I gave it, I’ll take it.
