Alie Ward Instagram – True story: for our engagement photos 2 years ago, @jarrett_sleeper was like, what if we do some of them in tiny shorts or giant ballgowns? Absolutely solid strategy. But while @vonswank was taking them, a big green & gold fig eater beetle buzzed by in the @nhmla garden and landed on my finger. This first shot is maybe my favorite because it’s goofy and campy, but so earnest with honesty, wonder & curiosity — things I adore about @jarrett_sleeper. He has the fastest brain and the most generous heart. Today is our anniversary, but every day is learning something new & being rascals.
