This is Lois! Photos: 1- newer pic. V happy. 2- I was driving in Pomona and saw a tired looking stray dog walking in the blistering heat. I pulled over and she immediately laid down in the shade underneath my car. She was being so sweet but v hesitant. 3- after giving her some water and petting her, she trusted me enough to let me take her into the car where I could blast her with air conditioning. I spent an hour or so posting in every local lost dog group I could find to see if someone knew her, but no luck. Decided it would be best to take her to a local shelter in case someone was looking for her. She was v happy to be at the shelter, and seemed pleased to be in a little crate that was nice and cool. 4- A few days later, Anna decided to follow up with the shelter to see if the adorable sweet dog I found had been claimed. She had not, but had been transferred to a rescue. Anna then tracked down the rescue and made an appointment for me to come see her. Here she is at the rescue. No idea if she recognized me, but she was excited to see me. After introducing her to Anna and Lady Bird, it was game over. 5- in the car again, happy as a clam. 6- look at that face 7- Lois laid down next to LB and I decided to make it look like they were fully cuddling. LB didn’t tolerate this for much longer than a few seconds. 8- LB was soaking up the sun and Lois decided to come lay on her butt. I was really impressed with LB not snapping immediately, but once again she didn’t tolerate this for much longer than the time it took to take a picture. 9- the dogs came to an agreement on personal space.
