Rocky Narayanan ❤️
Rocky left us last week and I can’t express how much we miss him. I still remember the first day my brother brought him home. He was a 33 days old pup who was almost our palm size and was so sleepy that he couldn’t even open his eyes completely. That night he slept on my brother’s neck for sometime. For the initial months we fed him cerlac and I remember one of the early days he fell into the bowl sleepy while eating. His early phase was all about eating, sleeping and running around the house. The curiosity in his eyes grew everyday and so did his naughtiness. Gosh, he was so lively and always kept us on our toes. Rocky was the one I would long to come back to, from school. His happiness knew no bounds when he heard my school van returning home. He would greet and welcome us all with love and excitement. Not just me and my family, everybody who met him was welcomed the same way. It’s beautiful how animals are born with the qualities that takes us a lifetime to learn. Kindness and unconditional love. He didn’t care what we studied, where we worked, what we wore, nothing. He just wanted us around him so that we could play with him and rub his belly. I remember my Anna, amma and I would deliberately change rooms just to see him follow us wherever we went. Rocky made our lives better and happier. He could never stand any of us cry. He would immediately lick our tears and make us feel better. This he did till his last. I’m just pouring out my emotions as it is. Rocky had very simple joys in life. He loved going for walks and car rides, playing hide and seek with us and he especially enjoyed sitting at the beach watching the waves. Rocky was a god sent healer. We are very grateful for the time we had with him and will cherish these memories forever. I miss playing with him, giving him belly rubs, hugging him, sleeping next to him, taking him on his walks, etc. But most of all, I miss just seeing him around. He was comfort. He was kindness. He was love. He was our happiness.
Rocky, we miss you chellam. This void can never be filled. Thank you for all the memories. You will be remembered forever. Akka loves you ❤️ | Posted on 24/Jul/2023 20:50:43
