Iranian authorities are using the death penalty to silence peaceful dissent, and over 10 people are being put to death each week in Iran, according to the UN, making it “one the world’s highest executors.”
The Center for Human Rights for Iran recently sent a letter to 75 governments around the world, calling on world leaders to increase pressure on the Islamic Repiublic to halt their executions.
