BB. Gandanghari Instagram – #FathersDay: Papa can you hear me⁉️🙏
.
To the man who served as Governor
To the man who served as Assemblyman
To the man whose political integrity I truly admire
To the man who served as President of one of the biggest Labor Union companies in the country
To the man whom my life depended on…
To the man I grew up being in fear of…
To the man I hardly knew bec you were bigger than life in my eyes…
To the man whose recognition I’ve always sought…
To the man who inspired me to value education and be good at it…
To the man who fought for the laborers at a time when mining was at its peak in the 70s and 80s…
To the man whose unapologetic approach to his lifestyle remains an enigma…
To the man… I wish to embrace
To the man… I LOVED
To the man whose heart only God can see.🙏
.
I miss you Pa, I wish I can see you now and just talk about life, like we did the last time we saw each other. I remember Oct 1987, five months before the big day, I’m reminding you that I’d be graduating March 1988 and you were so happy and proud that you were already asking me what I wanted for my graduation gift. I didn’t tell you yet at that time that I was running for cum laude bec I wanted to surprise you. January 1988, 3 months after we spoke you passed… 🥲
Never got the chance to tell you the good news, never got the chance to talk to you about my plans after graduation… 😔
I know more about life than 35 years ago Pa, ironically I have more questions now than ever…
Papa can you hear me?💕🌹
