Home Actress Bonnie Raitt HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers July 2023 Bonnie Raitt Instagram - We are marking the sad passing this weekend of our friend Chris Strachwitz, 91, founder of Arhoolie Records @arhooliefoundation, 'an indispensable label for American Roots music, from blues and zydeco to gospel and Mexican folk, for nearly seven decades.' No one has meant more to the preservation and appreciation of American Roots music than Chris. Through him I discovered Mississippi Fred McDowell, Memphis Minnie, Clifton Chenier, Flaco Jimenez and so many others. He was as large in personality as he was in stature—full of life and passion for the music he loved. I send condolences to his family and will treasure his memory always. -- Bonnie Please read more about him at the link in bio. Bonnie Raitt Instagram – Hi there,

I want to thank you all for your beautiful, caring wishes for my speedy recovery. Everything went really well. My healing is on track and I’m feeling better every day. The band and I can’t wait to get back to playing in a few weeks. I’m so sorry we had to postpone our shows and apologize to those of you who won’t be able to join us for the rescheduled dates. I so appreciate your support and hope you can come see us another time.

Happy early Mother’s Day to all the moms, and honoring our grandmas’ lineage too! Who’d we be without them? So many thanks.

Very grateful to bring good news,

See you soon!

Bonnie 💜
