Deepika Venkatachalam Instagram – Giving our “Engagement Series” a quick end with an absolutely meaningful PHOTO DUMP! 💕 03.02.2023 – A day that will always be cherished with some fine moments that will be etched in our hearts for eternity. From the moment our parents brimmed with joy during the rituals to when our bridesmaids and groomsmen cheered us with so much laughter to moments before the groom’s entry and the moment when my best friend and my little brothers held the kodai and panthal for us and to Dakshay’s and popsie’s charming cute entry to welcome us- I must admit god was enormously kind to bless us the way it was! 🧿 We wanted an intimate engagement with our closest circle of friends and family and it turned out exactly the way we prayed & hoped for. D hosting the first biggest event of her life and how not to colour code the entire event? 🙈When we put the invites to our people mentioning the colour code we were a tad bit unsure if people would actually give heed to it! Ahh I was moved on the day to see every single person walking in wearing white/beige! 🥹🤍 And then there was something else that made the day more memorable! Yes the venue! RBI Quarters, Besant Nagar- The same place where I was born & brought up. The place holds a tonnes of memories in my heart, a lot of good ones and a few traumatic ones that overshadowed the good ones. (If you know D, you know what trauma i get reminded of whenever I cross that place ) From when the engagement talks were on, Raja was the one who pushed me to fix on this venue & said “Inimey nee cross panra apo. Indha nalla memory varattum” 🥹 That was it. One of the best decisions of our engagement! 🤞 Throughout the day there were so many beautiful moments & we were a lil unsure if 100 people can be happy throughout an event but we witnessed it live that they can. A part of the hall was filled with my friends and family jamming and dancing to our fav songs, the other part with my bridesmaids looking at me with love, the other part with people having food and the other part with my friends taking selfies. That day! Looking back at it makes me teary eyed. A whole day of joy, fun, happiness & laughter! 🫶🏼 . #RnD .
