Joely Fisher Instagram – Father’s Day…it’s bittersweet. We always celebrated Connie with a Fathers Day card…she did all the heavy lifting literally and figuratively. I wanted my daddy, I was always made to feel I didn’t need him. It worked, until it didn’t. I went to him, forced myself into his life in a big way. When he left the planet all those years ago, I gathered photos and video of all the time we spent together to memorialize him… I realized how he had come to be so important in my life and grateful that my mom had encouraged it. When we spoke about him at Factors deli on my mama’s dime…all three of his daughters spoke about him and deflected with humor…that’s what we Fisher sisters do.
