Kirsten Gillibrand Instagram – In the year since I first posted this, not much has changed. None of the states that banned or restricted abortion have #PaidLeave. They took away your fundamental right to decide if and when you’ll have children and did nothing to protect your job, paycheck, or health insurance while you’re pregnant or caring for a newborn. But there was some good news. Minnesota enshrined the right to reproductive freedom into law — and they passed #PaidLeave! When we stand up and fight back, we can protect our fundamental human rights and support our families.
