He went to Mass with vice gov @markleviste, and his 2 kids who are here (allowing them their privacy because i didn’t ask permission if i could put their names in my caption) then they all had lunch with kuya’s favorite Tito Allen & Tita Irene (we consider them as valued members of a growing list of very kind friends we now consider as our extended Southern California family)… Kuya wanted siesta around 4:30 PM so sinamahan ko sya and i fell asleep again. When bimb came back to our room after eating a very late lunch, Kuya woke up and said he’d walk around. Bimb said he was sleepy kaya sinabayan ko rin sya. Until i woke up and saw it was already 10:20 PM… super well rested ako, sumobra nga lang ang tulog… sobrang na miss kong sumiksik sa aking 2 giants. Kahit matindi ang pinagdadaanan, i remain very grateful to God for blessing me with my 2 sons and blessing us with so many Prayer Warriors. Thank you for including my healing in your prayers even though you don’t even know me personally. When i read your comments, i get teary eyed because i ask myself- what did i do to deserve this outpouring of concern & compassion? Maraming salamat dahil sa gitna ng mga sarili nyong mga problema, naiisip nyo pa rin isama ako at ang mga anak ko sa inyong panalangin. God bless you more. 💛

Kris Aquino Instagram – i chose not to share with you until now that Bimb had fever starting on Saturday night, July 8. It started as a bad cough & sore throat. Monday, July 10, Dr. Henry our Fil-Am friend who thankfully has been so kind to me & my sons came by to check on bimb… i felt my heart crumble because bimb from Dr Henry’s assessment had pneumonia. 3rd time na for bimb- his 2nd bout w/ pneumonia happened during the initial pandemic lockdown when we were in Puerto Galera March 2020. My bunso has had asthma since he was 9. But as a baby all the way until he was in grade 1 bimb suffered from skin asthma and from childhood til now he has many of my environmental allergies. It was the worst feeling in the world as most parents would agree, when your family doctor says you aren’t allowed to go near your son and help take care of him because you’re undergoing immunosuppressant therapy using chemotherapy medication. Thank God bimb’s kuya josh stubbornly refused to leave the connecting room where bimb had to stay. He was bimb’s constant companion & even though my nurses kept telling kuya to stop hugging bimb tuloy pa rin sya. Thank God matibay kuya’s resistance, hindi sya nahawa ng kahit ubo o sipon. Lemuel is both a nurse and phlebotomist his business is to do home service blood extraction. He did my blood extraction Tuesday, July 12. Bimb finished his prescription Saturday & he’s 90% recovered. My lead doctor from UCLA, Dr John Belperio had my results Wednesday and he has the best, most positive outlook even when he’s giving bad news. i’ll try to explain my current situation without using too many medical terms. They’ll be in art cards along with some pics to help you understand where i am health wise and what a long battle i have… 1 thing is very clear to me- buhay ako ngayon dahil hindi kayo nagsasawang isama ako sa prayers ninyo even though most of you have never even met me in person. And that’s why i owe you only the TRUTH.
Kris Aquino Instagram – There are so many people to thank for the love,care, and compassion they gave me & the 2 i love most. I’ve already started sending my personal THANK YOU messages. My pictures were ready to share- memorable moments of kuya Josh & bimb w/ their Tito Noy timed for his 2nd death anniversary, but each time i tried to edit, i kept crying- because i can never forget how much he hated when the 3 of us weren’t together. i’d like to believe my “Kuya”is still keeping his deathbed promise to our mom, to be patient & protective of “bunso”, kuya Josh, and bimb… it was on June 24 LA time, making it Sunday, June 25 in the 🇵🇭 (🇵🇭 is 15 hours ahead of LA) when i told bimb the deep bone pain i felt in my joints & lower back was getting worse, walking was becoming harder because of my swollen right knee, and i needed him to please come back earlier. Since naka FaceTime, i asked kuya kung gusto nyang sumama to visit mama in LA? Nagulat ako when he said “yes, mama- sama ako with bimby sa LA.” i told Kuya to think about it. Nag FaceTime kami the next morning and i asked- what’s your decision, kuya? He said: mama, i’ll visit you in LA. I asked him SURE KA NA BA? Siguro tumatak na kay kuya, ang sagot nya: SURE NA. i wanted for Bimb to experience normal teenage life & kuya’s happy place is Alto, our family compound in Tarlac… pero mahirap mag chemotherapy medication as part of my immunosuppressant therapy without the support system of family. i’m allergic to all NSAIDS, pain relievers, pain killers, and i have an adverse reaction to all steroids. Aamin ako w/ methotrexate + Fasenra (my biological injectable, tapos na ko sa 1st cycle) ang feeling ko 3-4 days of extreme fatigue, chills, headaches, and everything has a metallic taste. Bedridden ako at halos ‘di makagalaw- sa lahat ng dumaan sa matinding chemotherapy- saludo ako sa tatag ninyo. Kuya & Bimb are my living reminders to not give up because they still need a healthier mama. ‘Pag mahal mo, hinding hindi ka susuko, itutuloy ang LABAN. Tonight i’ll sleep “siksik” in between my 2 giants. Muling nabuo kaming 3, thank you God for making me a very happy mama. 💛 Los Angeles, California
