Lexi Brumback Instagram – Story time: I remember back in the 2018/2019 school year, watching a YouTube video about a weird wonderland called MeowWolf based in Santa Fe NM…and just thinking “wow I NEED to go here” as I’ve always been obsessed with Alice in Wonderland. After finishing my first year at Navarro College *before the show aired and my life got crazy* I made plans with a couple friends to road-trip 13 hours to NM with $200 to my name. Yes we stayed in the most repugnant motel Santa Fe had to offer bc that’s all we could afford, but I will never forget the creative inspiration and child-like wonder that visiting MeowWolf gave to me in the few hours we were exploring it. Little did I know… that in 2021, MeowWolf would be inviting me personally as a creator to work with them when they opened their 2nd location in Las Vegas, and providing me with travel accommodations a few nights at the BELLAGIO (huge difference from mötel dōödòô that I stayed in for my first MW) To this day, that was one of my favorite life experiences and I seriously will cherish that memory forever. Now every time they open a new location, they invite me to get a first look into their new wonderland and it truly feeds my soul to have built this connection with a brand that inspires me so.
