Melanie Lynskey Instagram – I’m beyond honoured to have received two Emmy nominations this morning!! You know me, I like to talk about everyone so I’m doing two separate posts. This one is about Yellowjackets. Our amazing casting directors were nominated for a reason!! Thank you Libby, Junie and Josh. @yellowjackets is an ensemble show in the truest sense of the word and I marvel constantly at the individual talent of each one of these actors. And when they work together, I truly think magic happens. My nomination feels like a celebration of our ensemble, and not a recognition for me. I’m so proud to be part of this group of actors. I could not have better scene partners than this astounding group- @warrenkole, @sarahdesjardins , @jeffholmanofficial @tawnycypress ,@simonekessell, #laurenambrose, @juliettelewis & the miracle that is @riccigrams. I love working with all of you. I’m so lucky and I get to learn from all of you every day. Every new cast member this season added more magic to the ensemble- thank you for being with us @electrice @nicoleamaines @francoisarnaud @nuhajes @nia_sondaya @john_p_reynolds @mr.samersalem @imjennaburgess and Lauren and my sweet friend @simonekessell. With beautiful work as always from @rukiya.bernard Aiden Stoxx and Alex Wyndham. And to our 90s cast- you all know I’m the president of your fan club and Maman Patate for life. You all gave stunning performances this season. Stunning. I’m so honoured to know you all and be on a show with you. Thank you @sammihanratty @jasminsavoy @liv.hewson @courtneyeaton @soapy.t @stevenakrueger @ella_purnell @itskevinalves @alexabarajas__ @myalowe , Nuha and Jenna and Nia. And petite patate @sophie__nelisse, the best actor I know. You are magic and what you did this season was absolutely unbelievable. I love you beyond and I’m in awe of your talent. Thank you finally and especially to our writers, who created this story and put their hearts out there and give absolutely everything to this job.
