Michelle Obama Instagram – As Black Music Month comes to an end, I’m thinking about some of the incredible Black artists Barack and I hosted during our time at the White House. From Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder to Jennifer Hudson and Usher, it always meant so much to be able to connect folks with one another — and have a chance to sing along with them, too. I still cherish those musical nights, and I feel lucky to have been able to celebrate so many iconic Black artists who’ve contributed to the soundtracks of our lives. 🎶
