You take me to The Script at Fort Canning and I sit on your shoulders. I remember trying to record the concert on my iPhone 3, I play it back and it’s peaking all over it sounds like crap. That’s the last time we meet for almost 10 years.

We’re walking through spotlight for me to buy you an entire new set of pillows, blanket and covers because you said mine wasn’t comfortable enough, you grab me and ask if I’m your girlfriend or not. I say is that how you’re going to ask me, you say yes. I say ok. We cant remember what day it was, so we decide to have an anniversary month instead and we agree that thats wonderful.

We move into our first home together, you get covid and I’m thrilled to get you all to myself. I see you all the time, but its always good. Every moment, all the time. I spend the next year doing all I can to coax you into staying home more with me.

𝓐𝓹𝓻𝓲𝓵 2023
It’s the last day of the month and I’m sleeping, hungover from watching you bounce around to techno I don’t particularly enjoy but you do very much. I’m tired and groggy and you say you have a surprise. I’m like let me sleep but you pull out a ring. I say NOWWW?! you say yup now. I cry, you say some stuff, I say ok:)) You rush me to pack a bag because you have another surprise. So we rush, running all over to drop off the dog and get stuff because you’re whisking me away for a quick getaway to celebrate. We get to the airport and… we get turned around because you didn’t renew your passport. We go home, and sleep cause we’re both hungover. But engaged & hungover💍🍾.. then I get covid. I think its the perfect way to start our next chapter because its exactly us. It also rains that entire weekend and we have perfect weather when we do end up going 2 weeks later, so sometimes you just gotta trust the universe and I trust that it brought you to me
