Rabia Butt Instagram – The press event for my TV serial “Gunah” was a significant milestone in highlighting the portrayal of a female police officer in a country like Pakistan. In a conservative society where women are rarely seen in such positions, the character I portrayed served as an inspiration for many. With an unwavering dedication to upholding justice, SHO Sabiha defied societal norms and shattered stereotypes. People commented on the character’s makeup, questioning whether a woman in makeup could effectively carry out her duty as a police officer. However, it became evident that makeup was not a hindrance to her commitment to her work; instead, it served as an expression of her confidence and identity. The character’s portrayal emphasized that a woman’s appearance does not compromise her professionalism or her ability to bring justice to the people she serves.
