Tess Holliday Instagram – Everybody wasnโ€™t meant to get off at your stop ๐Ÿ–ค Itโ€™s been a long road, but Iโ€™m finallyyyy DIVORCED & I feel more myself than ever! I know some of yโ€™all are gonna be like โ€œyโ€™all seemed so happyโ€ – the grass always looks greener from afar. For so long I suffered in silence- I convinced myself that my needs, my mental health & my boundaries werenโ€™t important. For over a decade youโ€™ve all heard me say how important it is to take care of YOU, but until a couple years ago I wasnโ€™t able to do the same for myself. I could talk about the friends I shed along the way, the frequent moments I felt like a fraud because I was holding a dark truth & then pretending online like I had the easiest life. So much shame has weighed me down, so many intrusive thoughts told me that I deserved to be unhappy, & if it wasnโ€™t for beautiful friends & family like @razor_heartz @evilpork666 , & Liv โ€ฆ I most certainly wouldโ€™ve drowned in it all. I canโ€™t say that Iโ€™d do it all again just to end up here, because Iโ€™m certain that there were far easier & kinder ways to learn the same lessons. But I am grateful that I am in a place now that allows me to take in the gift that is my life. The beauty, the happiness, and the abundance that has & continues to pour in from all of the seeds planted. For anyone who hasnโ€™t or is trying to get to this chapter in their life, where you see yourself clearly or can breathe deeply again. Iโ€™m here to show you that the grass is greener – wherever YOU water it.
