Thuso Mbedu Instagram – My favorite story: My sister was born in April 1989. She was a quiet and sad child. They’d always find her sitting, staring wistfully through the window. She didn’t speak or smile or dance. Then suddenly on the 8th of July 1991 I was born. Her greatest gift. I’m told my sister broke out into song and dance and hasn’t stopped singing. I’m a true light to her which is why I wore yellow today 🥹 My sister (and my family) will deny it but it’s because this is only the first draft😒 don’t listen to em. It sounds better in my head.
