Toni Basil Instagram – An incredible night at the 27th costume designers guild award.
Was so honored to be invited by Bette Midler to sit at her table while she received the distinguished collaborator award. Billy Crystal presented the award and the two of them together literally brought down the house! They were so funny. They gave her an award but she gave them the gift of entertainment.
What a fabulous night!
I also got to visit with my good friend Austin Butler, whom I coached for his audition with Baz Luhrmann for the role of Elvis.(I guess that worked out)
