Home Music Director Sid Sriram HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers July 2023 Sid Sriram Instagram - The Hard Way is a song about not taking loved ones for granted. For me, the process of making it brought me back to the understanding of who my core circle is. The way @arsononly constructed the piece is magical. Started off as a jam with a drum loop, @ajabaum on keys, @dealdrugger on modular synth. @sophiaeris added this sick vocal part that I later went in and chopped and pitched down. @dustin_zahn came in later and did some crazy shit with the drums, @ajabaum layered in bass synth, @evanguymandude added some crazy guitar parts. Ryan and I then went to Nashville where we recorded gospel choir and pedal steel (extra points for those who can point out which part is the pedal steel part). we then went to to Brooklyn where @alexepton gave the song his magical touch. Finally, @love_burg mixed the song to perfection, and @huntleymiller gave it its mastered sheen. I knew the video had to match the same spirit and energy. @amitpivots (so clutch) brought in @bylucasom to direct and bring my vision to life. I first went to Minneapolis where we gathered the homies and @brendanlauer beautifully shot us in the same studio where we made the album. I went to Chicago right after that, where @bylucasom, his DP @dylanbudnieski shot the incredible @creationglobal crew of footwork dancers (big shout out to @vicmensa for connecting me with @dance.a.lilbit) and a beautiful gospel choir. Finally we went back to NY where @tommykiljoy edited the shit out of this thing! Special shout out to @rajidselim for pulling together some key logistics, to @tejxpatel for capturing the NY show, from which we pulled some key footage and to pops for documenting so much of my life on VHS. This whole process is a true testament to the phrase it takes a village, and that’s the spirit of “The Hard Way” All love

All love | Posted on 14/Jul/2023 19:14:36

Sid Sriram Instagram – There is something simply beautiful about wiping down the countertops in silence, at the end of a night
I still can’t quite articulate in words what falling in love is
I have felt it before though
A certain rhythm settles in, within yourself a quiet compass. It’s always been there, just muffled and distant
Not pushy or self serving// just there, waiting for you, to let it lead you
Trust in self before any other steps can be taken
And then trust in the strangely magical madness of those around who can simultaneously see you for who you are and who you will be
Vulnerability should never be taken lightly, it shouldn’t be avoided either
Like the sweetest nectar drawn from the fruits of existential yearning
I still crave for currents that are of this world, to propel my sights beyond myself
Still can’t put it in words, what falling in love is
Sid Sriram Instagram – LONDON//
I took a couple days to process what we did last week at Wembley Arena. (if you were there, comment here with your fav moments)
I grew up dreaming about performing in front of thousands and thousands of people, all singing together.
I’ve had moments where I’ve thought this pursuit is tied in with ego, but a dope conversation I had with someone recently beautifully reminded me that the core of this pursuit is an act of pure love: surrendering, being a vessel with music being the magically unstoppable force of nature, healing. London, I still can’t fully put into words all the feelings y’all inspired when we sent up beams of deeeeep love into the universe 10,000 people strong, but one that def comes to mind is gratitude.
What made this show feel especially magical for me was how it truly represented a coming together of all aspects of what makes me me; y’all had the room glowing when we performed Do the Dance, sang your hearts out to songs like Tharame and Kannana Kanne, lost your minds when the low end dropped on the Kannalane remix, and rocked out to songs like Inkem Inkem, Thalli Pogathey and Samajavaragamana.
Shout out my brothers @tapassnaresh, @sanjeevtmusic, @ramkuu, @hashbass, @theorganboy, @evanguymandude, @nikhilvpai, @vjkaycee, @soheldantes, @vinod_ld. 3 hours non-stop, all fire no skips at all, no fluff just a group of guys having the time of their lives playing music, going hard. Shout out everyone involved in making this show possible
