Baloji Tshiani Instagram – Coming 21.10.2023 — Baloji Augurism.⁠ ⁠ This Autumn, the MoMu Gallery will be transformed into a place of magical realism: the world of transdisciplinary artist @baloji.⁠ ⁠ The exhibition is inspired by ‘Augure (Omen)’, Baloji’s first feature film, filmed between Kinshasa and Lubumbashi in 2022 and award recipient at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.⁠ ⁠ ‘Baloji Augurism.’ is a site-specific project digging into Baloji’s past and contemporary archives of images, props, costumes and video: it is about mending the past and dragging it into the present.⁠ ⁠ On view from 21.10.2023 through 16.06.2024.
