After months and months of collaborative dreaming/sketching/writing/frustration/revision/hope/shedding/terror/determination/joy, fueled by exceedingly light roasted coffee and Home on the Ranges (2oz rye, .5 Cointreau, .5 Carpano Antica, two dashes Angostura, stirred, big rock, lemon and orange peels), @nickelcreek’s fifth LP, “Celebrants,” is out of the nest and would love to take up permanent residence in your ears!
The thing that’s being celebrated throughout the course of the record’s 18 interconnected tracks is Togetherness, in all its soul-restoring, heartbreaking, mind-numbing, change-inciting glory, so we highly recommend inviting a couple friends over, maybe making a round of the cocktail above, pressing play, and then talking it all over, whatever “it” may be.
