Daniel Wu Instagram – Bummer! Was so excited to race with my best friend over the weekend but it ended halfway through his stint with a broken motor mount which caused the motor to move enough to rip the ground cable connection off so eventually the Christine just shut down. Probably better than causing damage to the transmission of anything else. This engine mount sucks! I can’t even remember how many times this has happened with this. Poor design, look how thin the metal is at the highest point of force! Also @drivenasa did a terrible job of running this WERC Sonoma race. No qualifying or warm up sessions on race day, first come first serve grid line up, no warning of race start either so I ended up having to start in the back and work my way up to my class right at the start of the race. Not happy about that. And then after the race no podium because no one showed up with the awards. 🤷🏻‍♂️
