Darren Aronofsky Instagram – 25 years to the week of our release in nyc and la is our shined up restored copy of #pithemovie ! we went back to the original 16mm reversal positive and scanned it at 8k. then we did a digital vfx clean up and added
some new effects. we cleaned up some old camera shadows and sharpened our bolex images. next we did an atmos surround mix. now it’s available vod. funny enough 25 years ago pi was the 1st movie ever released on the internet.
