The republican strategy to get elected- weaken gun laws to enable more gun violence- convince Americans the only way to be safe is to buy a gun to increase gun sales- allow guns to be sold easily and trafficked into Mexico- then use the fear of the cartel we armed to get elected and repeat the process for the gun companies that fund their campaigns Not to mention how the CIA spent decades focused on forcefully over throwing Latin American regimes destabilizing their countries and crippling their economies. Republicans aren’t pro gun safety they are pro gun sales. Not even letting a bill be heard that simply would punish parents whose child uses their firearm in a school shooting is evidence of that.
This is an open message to every single lawmaker who has yet to take action on ending mass shootings. Go with my uncle @maxschachter and see what happened in Parkland. Witness the destruction he saw, and then ask yourself what you’re doing to stop this in your own communities.
