There are always challenges when bringing an idea to life.
We wanted to use the rotating platform to represent time. The changing and ever evolving nature of our lives.
But on the day there was a problem. We wanted to add sand to better tell the story of impermanence of our time on this earth. And also cause it looks cool.
But by adding 2,000 pounds of sand , the platform had issues rotating properly. We also found ourselves sliding off if it got too fast.
Speaking of time, we were running out of it. As much as we planned and prepared , there were numerous technical issues, and problems we had to solve quickly in order to complete the vision.
That’s the pain but also the joy in creating. It’s those moments when we come together and problem solve on the fly , collaborate with one another, motivate each other to keep moving forward to get it done. | Posted on 27/Jul/2023 23:43:43
