Derek Hough Instagram – I don’t know exactly when, but years ago I started saying “let’s make history” before I would perform or even if I was just leaving my house. My intention when I say “let’s make history” is not to set a record or to do something amazing. It’s just to acknowledge that each day, each moment that passes we’re writing our story, we’re creating our history. By saying “let’s make history” I’m basically asking myself , “what kind of story do I want to write? What kind of movie/life do I want to direct? When I look back what will my history look like?” Getting this 13th nomination has certainly made me reflect on my History and the Journey I’ve been on.
