In my humble opinion our greatest American composers are 1)George Gershwin, 2)Leonard Bernstein  and 3/4)Samuel Barber /Aaron Copland, Roy Harris, Duke Ellington, Quincy Jones, John Cage, Scott Joplin, John Adams, Philip Glass, John Williams, & my father, Carmine Coppola! I had the privilege to briefly work with the great Leonard Bernstein and the essence of the Maestro is enshrined in my memory. I saw how much he loved his children as he corrected his scores while his kids were watching TV, I asked “How can you work & concentrate like this?” and he said “I love it!” Thank You for the support in reaching 200K followers!
