Iain Armitage Instagram – When I was a tiny boy, my father was in a Broadway show called Sondheim on Sondheim. My mother parked my stroller in the back of the house and I just listened to a rehearsal one day. Maybe that was my first time in a Broadway theatre? Anyway, @vanessawilliamsofficial was starring in the show and this is when I first met her. She was so nice!! She invited us to her beautiful house for an incredible party, and at Halloween she sent me a costume to wear. The day I got it, I was in a MOOD and refused to pose for a picture to show Ms Vanessa how the costume looked. Eventually my mom must have bribed me and we got a decent picture. It was such a wonderful surprise to run into her all these years later- she’s still lovely, still so kind! People always remember how you make them feel, even when they are very small. I might not have been perfectly gracious about the costume gift at the time, but I’ve always remembered how thoughtful she is. ❤️ | Posted on 06/Aug/2023 20:35:05
