Matthew Moy Instagram – Hi! Awkward post. So Steven Universe ended yesterday, and I just wanted to say it was a true pleasure being on that show and getting to voice Lars. I wasn’t sure what to write at first, but I’m glad the show affected and inspired so many of you, and I became friends with so many of you and we all kinda got to grow up with the show. I had my stroke I think 3 months after we recorded the pilot, and when we came back to record the series, I didn’t know how to tell people my right side was paralyzed. It’s a weird thing to tell people. I think I lied and told people I sprained my ankle. Sorry. Fast forward like 5 years and I’m panic baking and won an episode of Cupcake Wars and then Lars baked and I thought that was the coolest thing ever. Then I started taking painting classes and @rebeccasugar helped teach me light logic. And now sometimes I go to church with @deedeemagnohallofficial and it’s just really peaceful.
