Mohanlal Instagram – Immensely grateful to have played a small role in spreading smiles over Kuttanad. On World Environment Day, the collaborative efforts of the @viswasanthifoundation and #EYGDS resulted in installing a hybrid RO plant in Kodupunna, Edathua. This marks an important milestone towards eliminating the region’s alarming drinking water crisis. The RO plant is powered by solar energy, functions without batteries to ensure zero carbon emissions and dispenses through RFID technology to negate wastage or misuse. Its capacity to provide a monthly 9 lakh litres of BIS-quality drinking water makes it a smarter solution for a happier Kuttanad. God willing, we hope to spread more smiles all across Kuttanad sooner. Watch our story of marking a humble milestone!
