Maybe The biggest rapper / draw for shows in queens was a very talented rapper  his stage name was Woody Wood  Woody was a clear cut unapologetic knock off of the great dj hollywood 

He like everyone in hip hop studied hollywood but  he took all of hollywoods routines and did them line for line for a living!!!!! and was a big star in queens because of it …he had woodys angels like hollys  angels  he had a disco son as did kurtis blow (dj run who later became  rundmc  like (dj small the son  of hollywood) who also recorded  all of you people who unintentionally distort history please go ask any 65 -75 year old living in harlem or the bronx before u add to the misinformation  happy hip hop 50  i hope hollywood and cheba get their recognition โค๏ธ
