Yesterday our community came together for the final push to clean and renovate the homework centre which we’re aiming to have re-opened by the end of the month. It warms my heart to see the children of La Seiva Village so excited and so involved ☺️. This is where I grew up and I remember how much of a positive impact the homework centre had on me as a child so I’m proud to say that @invisiblescarsproject_mwtt is sponsoring the financing for the infrastructure and renovations to get these doors open for the children of our community. Thank you to my beautiful community, my family and loved ones for coming together to make this possible! Every child deserves an opportunity to have a safe space and support system to help them achieve their aspirations in life. Here in T&T we have a famous saying, “it takes a village to raise a child,” so let’s get back to that ethos ❤️🙏🏽
